Volunteer
Opportunities
AAFS’ volunteer programs support the organization in its
mission of enhancing the mental health and social well-being
of the Asian American community. We are committed to providing
qualified, dedicated and compassionate volunteers with various
backgrounds and skills to help build stronger community.
Our volunteers include students, professionals, retirees
and individuals who simply want to spend a few spare hours
using their talents to help the community. With flexible
schedules that meet the individual needs, volunteering at
AAFS is an accessible and enjoyable way to help the community.
CAO
Volunteer Program:
CAO (Community Ambassador Outreach) volunteer program is
a select group of energetic volunteers who help promote
AAFS and its services in both private and public sectors.
Together with AAFS’ development and marketing team, CAO
volunteers help bridge the gap between the non profit world
and local businesses, forge partnerships and build goodwill
in the community.
Pathfinder
Volunteer Program:
Pathfinder volunteers serve as advocates, mentors, and friends
to children and adults affected by mental health or emotional
issues. From Medicare application to identify local community
resources, Pathfinder volunteers create links with the many
untapped resources in the community and provide a one-stop
resource for the clients we served.
